I know a women (and I'm sure there are many like her) in my neighborhood who is in her early 30's, SAHM, full time nanny for 2 dc's, literally does not spend any time with her kids except in the am when they wake up and bedtime, spends minimal amount of time with them on weekends (usually has grandparents watch them),and she wants to have another dc. WTF? why bother having kids? I am a SAHM as well (with PT help) and can afford to have full time help but why? I quit my job so I can raise my dc.
