what do you think about this job interview situation? had 2 interviews for a great job at a cable network - my dream job actually. they said they would know by the end of this week and there were 10 candidates. today i saw they just advertised for the same position on a major job website. i was sick about it so i called HR, and she told me that while i am still a top candidate and the boss spoke highly of me, they are expanding the search, and the job probably won't start for 2 months. I'm so bummed but don't understand why they would still tell me I'm a top candidate. Would HR just lie to me, why wouldn't they just tell me I'm out? What is really going on here?
