i do not see the point at ALL on going all out for nursery design or even dc's bedroom design. dbs don't give a shit, and as soon as dcs like something they grow bored of it and are ready to change in a year [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

i kept the nursery the same for both children -- it was light blue and cream -- and even though my sister said it was wrong to put a DD in a light blue room, i didn't care b.c it's my fav color. DD can make her big girl room pink or black or whatever she wants.... [ Reply | More

You can do a lot with a kid's room without spending a fortune. We spent a good amount of money buying big girl furniture that will last for a long time. The rest was $50 worth of paint, $50 worth of bedding from target and less than $100 on curtains. Looks expensive but it was not bad. [ Reply | More

I got pg 1st try both times and did beautiful rooms for both kids. I enjoyed doing it and although I did not spend a fortune I figured they needed furniture, bedding, crutains and paint on the walls so why not make it pretty and have fun with it. [ Reply | More
