Black thumb here, but need to get terra cotta planters for teacher gifts. Big enough to fit 14 kids' handprints. Approx how much are planters this size? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Not doing dirt exactly, but we were thinking of putting a plant in it. (Meaning a plant that's in one of those plastic pots...putting the pot directly in the planter. Then if they want, they can replant at home and add more (a lot more) dirt. Maybe we don't want terra cotta (they're heavy, right)? I'm so not a gardener. [ Reply | More

Eh, the class already decided on this. The teachers might even decide not to take them home...the school has a lot of trees/plants around. They might just leave them there! The teachers are also getting $50 gift cards, so the planter isn't the only gift. [ Reply | More
