Annoyed at nanny = dd is sick (just a cold) but not herself. She has had her out of the house since 2 pm - how do I handle? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

probably out with her other nanny friends - shopping, eating. Mine used to do this until I learned I had to say to her "don't take him out today, or if you do, only for 1/2 and hour or so" I understand why you're annoyed. Very selfish of her. By the time DS was 2.4, only if no fever, we deemed it ok for them to take a walk, staying away from crowds and doing reasonably low key things if DS felt like it. Before that age I wigged out about going out. [ Reply | More
