Is it normal for a baby to cry/scream with an ear infection? Sorry about the double post but i can't find my initial frickin post. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

OP: i went to ped and she gave me amoxicillan. gave him a dose and more of tylenol but i've never seen him cry like this. [ Reply | More ]

He is misearable and lying down is worse. I found motrin works better for ear infection pain than tylenol. [ Reply | More ]

Oh yes, it hurts so much. :( Try a warm, wet washcloth held to the ear. I've also heard about a tube sock filled with salt and microwaved until warm. As much Motrin as he'll tolerate, too. [ Reply | More ]
