ita, but it can also be something like my ds' issue of having problems writing. It is a learning disability, but not related to speech/language. [ Reply | More ]

Actually it is related to language, many struggle with pragmatic language. My dc has nvld and has an extremely high verbal IQ, but also has pragmatic issues. These dc are usually extremely verbal, but can still have language issues [ Reply | More ]

it's an inability to process non verbal communication. like--you simply can't tell if people are responding positively or negatively to you. [ Reply | More ]

This is not always the case. My dc has nvld and he does have trouble processing nonverbal communication, but not to that extreme. He knows when people are responding positively or negatively, but has more difficulty with subtle things. Also [ Reply | More ]
