we have an 8mos. DD & have had sitter/nanny 3 mos. & pay her $14/hr. she typically works for 4 hrs which equals $56 but sometimes i just give her $60. she sent text saying, 'thanks for the raise.' how would you handle? we're happy to give her the extra $ bc we love her but is it weird she made the assumption of a raise or sneaky to send a 'thank you' text?
