need opinions/advice from breastfeeding moms. My 5 month old will not bf at all during the day. The only way I can get him to eat anything so he won't be up every hour all night long is to pump and give him a bottle so that he can look around the room and get in a position he enjoys. He nurses absolutely fine at night when he is half asleep and will happily have all his calories at night. I have a 2 year old so dark quiet nursing during the day is definitely not an option. I don't know how much longer I can continue to do this as I have no time for anything else with all the pumping and sterilizing. The thought of feeding him formula upsets me as I bf my dd for 19 months so it seems unfair. WWYD? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Unfair? Omg, just do what works and what gets everyone through the day. 2nd kids *never* get all the time and attention 1st kids do, it's impossible. Do you think your ds is going to grow up one day and say "omg, how could you not bf me as long as you did her?" [ Reply | More ]
