I agreed with DH a month ago that we would do a big sleepover party for dc, if he would help me really clean up the apt. and clear out a ton of clutter. Now he is literally working around the clock, barely speaks to me on the phone or at home (always on the phone or computer) and I am starting to think he is not actually going to help me at all, so feeling overwhelmed by a rather huge task. if it's his clutter/mess, gather it all up and toss into moving boxes; stack in your bedroom before the party and keep the door closed. then you can have a clutter-free party, and he can clean his own mess whenever he gets around to it [ Reply | More

go to any target, walmart, kmart, etc... and buy some of those large plastic bins w/ tops. put his stuff in there, if need be, you can pile the bins in the corner of a room. he can get to organizing it later, but in the meantime, your place will be cleaned out for the party. [ Reply | More
