2 y/o ds has been waking at night and not wanting to get back in his crib... wants us to hold him while he sleeps. we have never done cio and, other than I don't want to, I really think its too late. any suggestions for how to get him to sleep in his crib all night on his own? expecting 2nd db in a few months... try toddler bed/moving his mattress to the floor. seems counterintuitive, but worked like a charm for us (at 18 onths!) [ Reply | More ]

ds hated being confined to his crib, so he'd get riled up even when he was tired. by moving his mattress to the floor (then getting a toddler bed), he totally got into it & stayed in all night. [ Reply | More ]
