don't do it. it did help my anxiety but i had to go off of it because of terrible side effects. the withdrawl was just torture and lasted months [ Reply | More

i've tried a lot of stuff and it's what works best for me. i upped my dose and it made me too numb. on a small dose, it's the best! just enough to take the edge off... it's hard to get off (you feel very woozy). but it's really good stuff... [ Reply | More

"Take the edge off" -- that's EXACTLY what I need. I am also on Wellbutrin, but my anxiety is through the roof, so my psych put me on a very low dose of Effexor. Do you remember how long it took to take effect? [ Reply | More

no weight gain with effexor... i started with effexor first and then did the wellbutrin to help with sex drive, etc... i take 75 mg effexor and 150 mg of wellbutrin -- i think... doctor said i can go on 37.5 mg of effexor if i want to but i like things the way they are... GL [ Reply | More
