how many sweets a day does your 4yo have? We're moving into about 3 -- a donut, hot chocolate, ice cream for dessert -- and I'm thinking its crazy and should limit to 1. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

as far as true desserts, it's one a day, however, we might have graham crackers andor animal crackers which are very low in sugar. in the winter sometimes we'd throw in an afternoon hot chocolate. i [ Reply | More

I would introduce Teddy Grahams, Animal crackers, Honey Maid Grahams, and Apple+Eve juice. They are all about 9-12 g of sugar per serving, so they are still a snack, but a lot less sugery than other options [ Reply | More
