How long do you let dc stay in the shower if they do shower? After 6yo fights that he doesn't want to shower once he gets in I can't get him out. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I soap up my 5 yo and let him stay in about 5 min more...it's time to get on with the bedtime show and I don't want to waste water. [ Reply | More ]

op: I agree but trying for ds to be independent so I don't want to wash him, etc. We're instituting a game of beat the clock, we'll see how it goes. [ Reply | More ]

I tell her it is a waste of water and bad for the earth - it helps that she's seen the water exhibit at AMNH twice - it usually works [ Reply | More ]
