Help - 4yo dd will not let me do anything to her hair - it's crazy curly & needs to be rinsed & combed (at least w/ my fingers) daily. She fights me to rinse it & get the knots out no matter how gentle I am. Ideas?? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

DONT comb or brush curls. Just spritz with water or leave-in spray and smush curls with your hands. If you aren't sure of the motion have hairdresser show you. [ Reply | More

anyway to make a game out of it? My mom used to be silly and look for mice in my hair. We would laugh the whole time and she would shake the "mice" off of the brush into my hand. And I would play with these little toy mice that I had (probably how she thought of the idea.) [ Reply | More
