I wish I could answer you but it really does so vary child to child! Why don't you tell us how old yours is, in what situation, therapies, school, progress so far, etc.? [ Reply | More ]

In broad terms if they have intensive, early intervention there are many who mainstream with a few supports. Without support unfortunately prospects get worse as the window on learning begins to close the older they get. [ Reply | More ]

Even if they have excellent early intervention it's still highly possible to need a more supportive/restrictive school setting. I know a lot of pdd-nos kids at my dc's SN school. [ Reply | More ]

It really depends on the degree to which they have pdd-nos and the amount of therapy they have had. [ Reply | More ]
