Impossible to open and close with one hand. Very problematic with dc in the other hand. [ Reply | More ]

I should be forthright and let you know that I don't own one - I'm still TTC. But my bf does, and this is what she complains about most. In comparison, she says the Zippy is super easy to open and close. One button and voila! [ Reply | More ]

Good question. I have a Maclaren and a Pef Perego. The bugaboo looks more comfortable, but want to make sure before I invest in a third stroller. [ Reply | More ]

Why on earth would one want a THIRD stroller? [ Reply | More ]

NP: I am thinkng of getting a third - a jogging stroller. Have a Peg Perego and Zippy. [ Reply | More ]

yes, this makes sense. but the OR is considering a bug which serves the same function presumably as the Mac or the Peg. Why oh why? [ Reply | More ]

Those that own bugaboos seem to really love them. If they are that much better, then maybe my first two choices were wrong. [ Reply | More ]

How old is DC? Toddlers "seem" to look a little cramped in them. Don't own one, so don't know if it's true, [ Reply | More ]

NP and you know, you have two very nice strollers. Really, what is a third (very expensive) stroller going to add to your life? [ Reply | More ]

It's not about me -- it's about ds. The Bugaboo appears more comfortable than other strollers. This is just my perspective, since I don't own one. If looks are true, then I of course want my ds to be as comfortable as possible. [ Reply | More ]

This reminds me of The Princess and the Pea. Believe me, you have two comfortable strollers. I have a Maclaren and got a sheepskin pad for it - ds could NOT be more cozy. [ Reply | More ]

BTW, I'm just floored at the idea that Maclaren/Peg Perego could be "wrong" choices. But hey, if you feel like and have the bucks, go ahead and get every brand on the market, who cares [ Reply | More ]

I don't know, I had an older one with crappy straps and as soon as my kids turned 1 they tried to escape it, never did that in a maclaren even when not strapped [ Reply | More ]

No need top judge -- I bought the strollers long before the Bugaboo was available. Does it matter that I already have two strollers? How many pairs of black shoes do you have, and would you not buy another pair if you already have two? [ Reply | More ]

Is there a difference? The strolelr is the same price as 2 pairs of shoes, 2-3 dinners, etc. -- but it will last longer than both! [ Reply | More ]

NP - IMHO, if OP wants to buy 6 Bugaboos, that's her business--unless she's expecting us to chip in. Leave her alone. [ Reply | More ]

if you take public transportation don't get it. it's great if you do a lot of walking but bulky in shops. I wish I had gotten something else. [ Reply | More ]

I just dont get the weird bugaboo-hating! They're not THAT expensive. It's so weird to get all worked up about them. I have boots that cost more than that stroller did! [ Reply | More ]

Wow, really? The only things I own that cost more than $700 are things like my stereo, TV, computer, car, etc. But anyway, I think it's that it's so much more than all the OTHER strollers out there. [ Reply | More ]

only cons are 1. men stop and stare at it because of the design (i get constant comments) 2. it has to be taken apart in two pieces. But i totally love it and it was worth every penny. it is truly a great and versatile design. I also had the carseat attachment which totally rocks. by the time ds grows out of it i'll be having the next child (i hope anyway) [ Reply | More ]

Love my Bugaboo. I never pull it apart, but I can see that if you had to, it's kind of a nightmare. I do have one huge complaint: it's understroller basket is awful. Difficult to access, small, etc. For everything else, I love it and so do my 2.5 yr old and 1 year old (have now mounted a buggy board and works great too) [ Reply | More ]

Love mine but I haven't folded it up in years. It gets easier with use. My Cameleon is 8 years old, has seen 3 dcs and is just now starting to show wear. Single best baby purchase we made. [ Reply | More ]
