Thanks for all the Sara(h) responses. My dd is Sara (named after my grandmother who spelled it that way) -- people always look at me funny when I spell it without the 'h'. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

There is no connection whatsoever in Hebrew between the masculine name Noah (pronounced Noakh) and the feminine name Noa. Completely different roots. [ Reply | More ]

oops - in hebrew "noach" and "sarah" end in different letters - noach ends in the "chh" (throat clearing) sound while sarah ends the same way you pronounce it in english (silent H) [ Reply | More ]
