Open plan seating at work. We are moving to a new space. I have been at in the middle of the room at a large table STRUGGLING. I have textbook ADD but have developed strategies and coping mechanisms (no diagnosis). I want to ask for one of the corner seats in the new space. A seating chart was sent around for direct replies. I assume for these type of requests. How can I do this tactfully without sounding like a PIA [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Ok pointing out that I have a crap job is not super helpful and btw the NY Times legal.dept is open plan along w tons.of other prestige jobs, I am looking for help here. An inability to focus derailed my career previously until someone actually offered some coping strategies. I really can't function in the middle of the room.
