I don't want to get drawn into anyone else's drama unnecessarily. I personally would not ask. but it sounds like you are a more giving person who would be open to hearing the answer. How do you now he hasn't been around? I can go lengths of time without seeing people who live right next door. And if something was "wrong," the family would know if they live with him and you wouldn't need to investigate. [ Reply | More

Paramedic Mom here: You can call your local non-Emergency Police Department line and ask for a "wellness check." State exactly what you just said above, and that you're a concerned neighbor. They might check the house and/or they might contact family. It's always good to get stuff like this documented because if there is a pattern or another person calls in something regarding the same individual they can pull this report.
