If any medical professionals are here, is there such a thing as an OTC kit for testing your iron? I feel cold, tired and achy again, the way I did when I was anemic. Or should I just see my doctor? TIA. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

You don't have to check iron. You get a CBC (complete blood count) and see if you're anemic. There are many causes of anemia, iron deficiency being just one of them. I'd also get a thyroid panel. [ Reply | More ]
