What do you all think about Quebec or Montreal for a few days over Xmas break? Thoughts and ideas appreciated! Tia. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Quebec the province or city? If you're in NYC Montreal is going to seem more of the same. Old Town Quebec City is TINY. If you incorporate the ice skating on the river, cultural tours, maybe the waterfall day hike, then it'll feel different :) Don't know that the ice hotel is open yet then? Also beware smoking is VERY common. [ Reply | More ]

Could be cold, but pretty. Go to SugarShack outside Montreal for great food. [ Reply | More ]

There is a bus from Quebec City out to Mt. Anne so you can go skiing for the day too. It's a wonderful city and of course, amazing restaurants. Much better than going to Montreal. [ Reply | More ]
