Sorry-fairly new here and didn't realize that was a controversial topic. We were in a similar situation with one of my 3 (though we did try traditional private) and finally found luck with homeschooling, though probably not as most think of homeschooling. He worked at his own pace, had a few structured classes a week with others like him, and checked in with his mentor once a week. Yes, there was cost involved, but less than private and he was sooooo much happier. He's now a sophomore at a top public university in the honors college. [ Reply | More
