Thinking of doing a larger nightstand in one side of the bed, and a glass table on the other, would use the same lamps. Just works better in the room. Would it be better to do this or just have one nightstand? Could do the same lamps on either side. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I like the idea of a table at least on one side. It seems like you are supposed to have matched nightstands. But I thought a glass table would be different brought that it looks ok. Was considering round to make it very different. [ Reply | More

If it is a guest room with 2 people sleeping in the bed, you NEED to have something on either side of the bed. Make sure they are the correct height. [ Reply | More

If 2 people in the bed, you NEED to have something on either side of the bed. One nightstand does not cut it. Nowhere to put a lamp, clock, phone for charging, etc. One person will suffer. [ Reply | More

I’ve always heard the lamps in your room should all be as close to the same height as possible because the eye finds it more pleasing when it scans the room. So if the tables are different heights, this logic would suggest different sized lamps. [ Reply | More
