Head out to Queens if the weather is nice - Socrates Park, the Noguchi, MOMA Qns, then wander around one of the great food neighborhoods to find something for lunch. Get mani pedis while you are out there, the prices and service tends to be much better. [ Reply | More

+1 Astoria is nice. Astoria Park or waterfront of Queens is nice b/c you get a good view of Manhattan. There are still some good Greek restaurants out there (if you have a car it's a little easier). Titan Food market and another one (name escapes me). [ Reply | More

I highly recommend the shibui spa at the greenwhich hotel. Beautiful and lovely pool. And you can have dinner at locanda verde, the Italian restaurant at the hotel. It’s a bit overhyped, but cool atmosphere. [ Reply | More
