I received class placement for my rising 6th grader (new middle school) with just a class/homeroom number. No teacher name, no classmates, no schedules, nada. Is this normal for middle schools in the city? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Yes. Why do you need to know who is in their class? [ Reply | More ]

Because it’s reassuring for kids to know they’llhave a friendly face or be prepared if there’s a kid they hate. [ Reply | More ]

np. my kids always want to know which friends are going to be in their class! But they will find that out the first day, they're just impatient to know. [ Reply | More ]

Booker T? Totally normal - my kid is there. If it is Booker - don't block the gate at drop off. The 6th grade parents are the worst!! :) - that said the school is amazing and so many kids thrive there. Happy first day of middle school! [ Reply | More ]
