I use Citymapper or Google maps for directions. For subway times, I use the MTA app. For just the map, I use AllSubway which has maps of all the subway systems in the world. I like that one because the map opens up to the size of your phone and you just zoom in. When you open it in the MTA app, it opens big and there's no zoom in or out so you have to move it around your screen. [ Reply | More ]

I use My MTA when I am at home and need to plan a route to an unfamiliar place. You have to enter start and end points and then you get the options. Going to work in the morning, I just check MTA Subway Time to see if my train is on time and the service is regular. I also use MTA Bus Time for my bus connection. [ Reply | More ]
