Do you think it is tack to use coupons/gift certificates when dining out. I am looking for ways to trim our budget and am thinking about using restaurant.com for when we eat out. Also, if any one in NY uses this, do you have a favorite restaurant? I don't recongnize many of them. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

np: Server won't care less as long as you don't short the tip and give cash for that. I believe most gift cert and coupons exclude tips anyway. We used a gift cert last night and the server could not care less. [ Reply | More ]
