I was just diagnosed today and they won't take me in for a consulation appointment until end of september which i believe is crazy. Don't know if I should try to find another Dr or just wait. [ Reply | More ]

Yes, had it a 1 1/2 years ago and still not pregnant. The endo turned out to be the least of my problems. The surgery itself is a breeze. [ Reply | More ]

^^and I've done research since then, and it turns out that removing the endo from the ovaries can be counterproductive--it can remove ovarian tissue and make ovarian reserve issues worse. I have terrible ovarian reserve, will be using donor eggs at age 35 in fact, and can't help but wonder if the fact that my first RE removed endometriomas from both ovaries contributed to my diminished reserve. Just something to keep in mind. [ Reply | More ]
