3mo used to poop 2-3 times a day (yellow poop) then this week he has only pooped once. (And it was green and slimy). Until Monday he was EBF, except for 1 bottle of Alimentum at night. End of last week, I upped that to twice a day, is it the Alimentum? SHould I be worried? Shouldn [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Why are you using Alimentum? Is he allergic to dairy? If so and you're still BF, are you avoiding dairy too? My dd started with green slimy poops around then and it turned out to be because of her dairy allergy. Also apparently too much foremilk/not enough hindmilk makes for green slimy poops. Also, formula is indeed more constipating than breast milk. And finally, maybe he has a stomach bug? Probably it's nothing and will pass. [ Reply | More
