To those of you new Anderson parents who were at the cocktail tonight with me (and you know who you are) I have NEVER met a more obnoxious group of people! I hope the remaining A parents who were not invited to this party are more normal than you. Seriously, you were (each of you) annoying but the group of you together were an experiment in social dimensia. PLEASE try not to hang out together in the future. The rest of us can't take you!!! It was a private party with many guests including a creepy crew of Anderson parents who all sucked in together and talked about Anderson..which in and of itself would have been fine but these folks really stunk up the party. Some examples include, the mom who wouldn't stop talking about how giftedness is a special need/learning handicap that needs to be treated the same as a child with problems in the opposite direction (her words, not mine). The dad who showed off his I-Phone to anyone who was unfortunate enough to cross his path, holding them captive for an entire demonstration. The Mom who immediately asked everyone where their kids went to school just so she could volunteer, 'Oh well we're starting at Anderson in the fall". not an anderson mom, but I find your need to discuss in such detail some people you met at a party on a public message board highly disturbing. who cares about any of this, and frankly, the stuff you note is not all that notable. obviously something is stirring up such raise in you, but it is doubtful that it is related to anything these people said or did at the party. my guess is your kid didn't get in and the grapes are still extremely sour...perhaps, bitter.
