I'm a minority reporter and I find so often that the description "blonde" is used so often as if to say, "Can you believe it? She was this blonde so and so...it's so horrible this happened to her." Case and point, yesterday on two occasions my interview subject, who witnessed a blonde little girl almost drown said, "It broke my heart. Here was this blonde little girl, helpless!" I find this interesting because would someone say, "Here was this black haired girl..etc." Is it a description to bring value to her life? Thoughts? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]
