People suck! I am aggravated because my DH and I were not invited to our BIL's relative's wedding when the rest of DH's immediate family was! The reason (I suspect) is because I have not been the most social individual toward these people, I think they are fake, and can be kind of hostile and unfriendly to them when I see them at my BIL's house. OP: I personally am not close with them, however my DH definitely has more "history" with them (he met them and socialized with them in the 80's, where I didn't really get involved with them till like '96 or so).
