I have a friend who has a DD in the same preschool class as my DD, and lately she's been acting very "single white female" on me. I told her several months ago my DD really likes having playdates with another girl in the class, and have recently found out she has become this girl's mom's new BFF, even down to copying this girl's bedroom for her own DD's new room. This isn't the 1st time she's glommed onto one of my other friends and become her BFF. It's really strange, and the worst part is when she's glommed on to these new BFFs, she's very aloof with me. WTF? I don't know what to think. Does she have some type of personality disorder? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Your focus is in the wrong place. You need to ask yourself why you continue to have this person in your life? What need is she fulfilling for you? And then hopefully, you will be able to recognize why you continue the pattern and be able to break it. It's about you, not her [ Reply | More ]
