Dd climbed out of her pac n play while on vacation and then came home and used her newfound skill to climb out of her crib. I took off her bumpers to no avail. Time for a bed? She's 2.2. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

yes. I put both dc in beds right at 2. I was too worried about them falling when trying to climb out of crib. They were both fine- after one night experimenting with the novelty of it (coming out of the room, etc.) they settled in for naps and nighttime with no problem. We put rails on the bed for six months or so. [ Reply | More

absolutely. unsafe to continue with crib. take off gate and lower mattress to lowest level [ Reply | More
