I read that she loves to sing and will take any part with singing in it. FWIW, I loved her in the movie and thought is was totally realistic that those men would be into her. Technically the ages don't match up. But she's a good singer & actress and is great in the part. I remember seeing the Indiana Jones movie earlier this summer. It is so refreshing to see Karen Allen--a 56 y.o.--who looks her age, but in a really good way. And she's playing opposite a man who's age appropriate for her. But I'm sure some people saw it and thought "yuck" because it is such a (sadly) unusual bit of casting. [ Reply | More
