Cloth diapers? I am seriously considering for DS #2 who is due in about 6 weeks? Anyone have any specific experiences or info that can help with this decision? We are in NYC - laundry room in basment. Less about saving money than env. impact - thanks [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

we used them b/c dc had a diaper allergy. They're really easy to use. We used Fuzzi Bunz but they're all pretty similar- velcro closures. I felt like the environmental impact part was sort of a wash (ha ha) just because of the amount of water I had to use to clean them. I ran them once through a cold wash for rinsing and then did a regular wash, and it just seemed like I was using so much water (and I live in So Cal, where water conservation is a much greater issue than landfill space).
