OMG. A mom at the park asked me how her nanny does when she isn't around. I tried to think of a polite way of telling her the nanny is better with the boys than she is. What a freak! Poor nanny, I have no idea how she could work for such a helicopter mom! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

her boys are 18 mo. she was very concerned because one scraped his forehead on a bench under her care. Uh, 18 mo toddlers are always falling and running into things. Definitely, not the nannies lack of attention! I told her that's what 18 mo do.. [ Reply | More

no kidding! the nanny is awesome. you have to let go and run the risk of minor injury with toddlers...that's how they build self confidence and self esteem. She is really insecure with them. I feel bad for the boys. [ Reply | More

How judgemental are you? Do you have 2 little boys? If not, it can be crazy. Also, it is often easier for a nanny because her only job is to make sure that the kids are safe & taken care of. A mom is often watching the kids, cooking dinner or other meals, cleaning the house, doing bills, answering the phone, laundry, etc.. Sounds like you may have only one or may not have 2 highly active boys. [ Reply | More
