is it possible to have identical twins while taking fertility pills? or does that result in only fraternal twins? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Yes, it is absolutely possible to have identical twins AND be on fertility meds. If one egg is fertilized and then decides to split, voila - indentical twins, meds or no meds. [ Reply | More ]

it can get even crazier than that. You can have two eggs "take" with fertility drugs and then one of them split so you end up with triplets - two of them being identical twins and one being a fraternal. [ Reply | More ]
