What? Why can't men and women be friends? That is the silliest thing I've ever heard. [ Reply | More ]

a dh: You have a right to tell him how you feel. He has a right to behave like an adult. This includes making adult decisions, like who his friends are. If the man you married is trustworthy -- you need to trust him. If not -- you both need to work on this. (I would add though, do you think he should have a right to veto who your friends are?) My husband is friends with all sorts of women, always has been. He is a great guy who is quite clear that he wants me and only me. I can't imagine objecting to him having a friend of any sex, color, religion... That's just juvenile. [ Reply | More ]

I think if it really bothers you that you should tell your husband that his relationship makes you uncomfortable. Tell him you respect his relationship with others, but you would prefer if he didn't spend a lot of time with her. [ Reply | More ]
