I just saw it. DO NOT take your kid. There are MANY examples but I'll give you one: The Joker holds a knife in a guy's mouth and very slowly tells the guy the story about how when Joker was a boy his drunk father sliced the corners of his mouth open to create a smile. DO NOT take your five year old! TONS of violence, scary characters....don't take the 7 year ld either. Seriously, I'm 35 and it was hard for me to process. It's 3 hours long, it's very intense, it's loud, it's violent, the plot is hard to follow, one guy gets his face half burnt off and they show it....don't take your kids. [ Reply | More

So I can expect a dozen strollers at my local theater in Brooklyn. (The parents don't bring the toddler so much as allow him/her to come with 7 yo brother... I am amazed at how many kids I see in really adult oriented R movies. [ Reply | More

I LOVE the chapter in American Psycho (the book, not in the movie) where Patrick forced a girl to get an abortion, drives her to the clinic in a limo, refuses to go in and then buys a bunch of baby toys and puts them in the backseat for her when she gets out and then gets dropped off to go to Aspen while she's getting the abortion...hysterical!
