Is 4 way to young to bring my dd to get a mani or pedi at a place like pinky's? She is so into getting her nails done (I do them at home and it makes her year)! I was thinking a "real" one (scaled down a bit) would be a great treat for her. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I would go at a very quiet time, like when it first opens and she would get a very basic manicure...not with all the clipping, filing, etc. I can't imagine it would take more than 10 mins. And she is not loud and I know she would behave very well. It would just be a treat every once in a while. [ Reply | More

I want to hear what others have to say. I have 3 yo who is the same way. She loves to have her toenails done. I do them but think it would be a great treat for her. I wonder if others have done this and how it went. I say call and ask them and then go for it. It would be great if these places offered a parent/child special. [ Reply | More

It is fine, I took my dc when she was two. I actually hadn't planned it, she had fallen asleep in her stroller & I wanted to get a pedi myself. She woke up and the lady doing my nails noticed how into it she was & asked if she could get light pink. SHe was perfectly behaved and totally thrilled. [ Reply | More
