okay: we're repainting the walls in dc's room. big built-in wardrobe, ceiling, window trim, etc. are basic white, like celing white. we want to do another shade of white but I'm having trouble figuring out what would have some contrast but not be too pink or beige (our living room/dining/hall are linen white w/plain white trim, so I don't want this to look exactly the same). Any ideas? [ Reply | More ]

A VERY light ice blue... I think called ice white or similar- won't look beige or pink at all, and is calming [ Reply | More ]

I'm not sure... we used Behr paints and I don't recall the color name, but ask and they will help you at the store [ Reply | More ]

I'll tell you what not to use: BM's October Sky...we are painting a whole house and used it on the guest room....looks off white in the swatch but has a pinkish cast to it. I'd look at BM swatches that are blue or gray at the bottom and then at the top look white...then you will have a bluish or grayish cast... [ Reply | More ]
