I have first birth class tonight - can anyone tell me what to expect. Like do I need a notebook, should I be prepared for a graphic video right away, etc.? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Likely that they'll give you a pamphlet and you'll probably see a video at the end of the class. The one I saw wasn't very graphic, what bothered me more was hearing 6 different women moaning during the different stages of labor. It made me very uncomfortable, but not in the sense that I was worried about the pain, more that it was something so personal that I shouldn't have seen. Weird. [ Reply | More

You don't need a notebook, you'll get handouts at each class covering the topics of the night. Our video wasn't until the last night. I think ours was shot at a nudist colony. [ Reply | More
