How cool. I read Monte Cristo ages ago. Mutual Friend is awesome, but pretty dark (esp. compared to an early work like Pickwick). It's his last completed novel--he wrote it while he was having an affair w/ an actress young enough to be his daughter and you can see a lot of double-life ideas in it. [ Reply | More
