I was at the playground with 20 mo old and she wanted to take other child's toy which was laying on the bench. Other child's mother started running towards the bench and almost knocked my dd off just to take the toy away. My dd started crying. I picked her up and left. Would you have said something to the other mother? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

A pursed-lip look of utter disdain and pity should do the trick. Clearly this mother is not worth your comments/energy if she values a toy more than a person. [ Reply | More ]

Yes, I would have said "Excuse me" and asked what the big deal was...she's a toddler! [ Reply | More ]

No. She probably knew her kid would freak. The playground wars over sharing toys are annoying. I'm glad I'm out of it. [ Reply | More ]
