how close is too close to have babies? am due with first DB next month and think i want to get prego asap to wrap this whole baby making, pregnancy thing up. had a horrible time conceiving (took 2 years and had IVF) and had a tough pregnancy. is 8 mos too soon to start trying for #2? And don't believe the people who will tell you how close your dc will be. My brother and I are 1yr & 15days apart and while we're cool we're no closer than our other siblings and I've never been close with my mother and I think this has something to do with it. [ Reply | More

agree with first 2 posters. have baby, then decide...you never know how you're going to handle an infant. for some people, it's easy. for some, it's very difficult. I had trouble conceiving too and started trying for #2 when dd was 6 months [ Reply | More

Difference between #1 and #2 was 3 1/2 years. Between #2 and #3 18 months. I'd suggest you wait and see how your life is going to change after you give birth with #1. You cannot plan these things right now. [ Reply | More
