My heart is breaking. My 6 year old son is aggressive, never smiles, never shares his feelings, but sometimes -- and only to me -- reveals himself to be a loving little boy. Autism has been ruled out, but I fear he is destined for a life of feeling slighted and being inexpressive. Will he grow out of it??? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I agree. Just keep loving him everyday. Model affection constantly. Go overboard if you have to. My daughter was not smiley at all as a baby and I went over overboard on affection, happiness, etc. And now she is the most loving toddler. Good luck. [ Reply | More ]
