Is this odd? My nanny, who works the same hours every day, said it was stressful not knowing who would be home with ds when she arrives in the am (me or dh) or who would be home in the evening when she leaves (again, me or dh). Why should she care? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I did. She just said it was stressful. DH and I don't want dc with a nanny too many hours, so one of us goes in late in the morning and one comes home early. But we figure out who will do what on which days based on our work demands that week. Stressful for us? Yes. Her? I can't see why. [ Reply | More

I would ask her... but she probably is stressed because the messages she gets from you and DH are probably different or not shared with each other. happens in my house.. .sometimes there is miscommunication. [ Reply | More
