some people just need to get over themselves. I just met a woman who in less than 5 minutes managed to work in where her kid goes to school. we weren't even talking about children. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

and some people take everything as a sign of competition. if OP had no reason to feel competetive, she would not have thought anything of learning of the woman's kids' school. what is it with everyone in this town who has kids?!? I had a similar experience, met a mom and in 5 minutes I knew that her DD was going to Sacred Heart and that they live on 5th but are looking at a 5 bedroom on Park....I was like how lovely my kid goes to public and we live in a 1 bedroom walk-up! [ Reply | More
